The Golf Club at Yankee Trace
Now accepting applications for the full-time position of Mechanic in the Golf Maintenance Division of The Golf Club at Yankee Trace. The Yankee Trace Mechanic maintains the vehicles, mowing and mechanical equipment for golf operations of The Golf Club at Yankee Trace.
Administers preventive maintenance schedules, tests, services and repairs for all golf course vehicles, mowers and mechanical equipment. Operates diagnostic instruments; cuts and welds metal and performs body repair, touch-up, and related work; develops shop procedures and assists with preparation of maintenance budget; maintains records; purchases equipment, parts and supplies. Must have knowledge of inventory control; mechanical maintenance; vehicle maintenance and repair; records management. Must be skilled in vehicle and equipment mechanics; welding; motor vehicle operation; use of mechanics’ tools and equipment. Must be able to interpret technical material in books, journals, and manuals; lift up to 100 pounds; perform heavy manual labor for extended periods of time in often adverse conditions; utilize cleaning materials; operate mechanics’ tools and equipment (tools provided).
High school diploma or equivalent; and completion of specialized training in mechanics; and three (3) years experience in vehicle and/or equipment maintenance; and a valid Ohio driver’s license; or any combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to be successful in the position.
The pay range is $30,750—$49,200 depending on qualifications, plus an excellent benefits package.
